# Wire Ranger range limit

The other day when i was building a radar on the server, i noticed the small range of wire rangers.

The radar (which btw, im not trying to put on a ship) had this really small range limit at 2000 but that is only near half a cruiser, (my size) so there is no way i could possibly build something useful that requires that much range.

The radar was supposed to be my warning system because on most maps you have a hard time looking into space through the atmosphere, i do admit it may be primitive and kinda useless when you think about it but building a radar isn't the only thing you can do with a ranger that requires plus 2000 range.

This is something i think will not destroy the server by changing but only helping players with their many projects.

Best Regards

Its a wireteam thing, I told you that yesterday. Your best bet for anything related to standard wiremod changes is going to their github page and suggesting it.
This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit.

in the meantime you can use this glorious e2, which acts as a ranger in the direction of the red gear on the top of the entity
@name space ranger
@inputs
@outputs [E]:entity
@persist
@trigger

interval(25)

rangerFilter(entity())
E = ranger(99999):entity()
