Upcoming Server Outage - Server #1 (178.63.177.22)

Hi Guys,

Doing some semi-major infrastructure changes which will result in some downtime for gmod server..
At this stage, unsure how long it will be but planning from a few hours to up to 24/48 hours..

For those that are interested in technical details, moving it to a new server as the entire ip range is also moving :)

Timeframe/Dates:
Looking at starting it on the following date:
- 9th of March (GMT+10)


Hoping it will only take a few hours, and won't be any major issues..

Will be updating this post / topic with more information as it gets closer / I know more details.

    It appears, we have had a few networking problems, working on them currently hopefully will have them resolved soon.

    Hopefully final update:

    Network problems have been resolved, performance issues all have been updated/solved.
    After it being broken/spasmodic for the last 48/72 hours I still am declaring it in testing mode but as far as I am concerned it is resolved.

    Server is unstable as all hell. Laggy as shit even though my ping is fine.

    Haven't tested it myself recently, but:

    At this point, not quite sure what is causing the problem, but will be looking into it.

    Hi Guys,

    After the downtime today, I have made some semi-major updates.
    I have had Lambda & starfort testing the server, no reported network glitches & no real "lag" to speak off..
    Essentially please hammer/test the crap out of the server and report any network glitches / major spazzing out.. :)

    Update - Auto-Restart
    Hey guys, Auto-restart has been fixed so crashing the server means it will be up sooner rather then later :)
