I appear to have temporarily broken everything.

So I was playing around with Photon torpedoes, when all of the sudden one exploded next to me, then I lost all hud, every entity disappeared, i got around 200fps, and I couldn't pause using esc. Then I closed gmod and rejoined, I was a cadet and many things appeared broken, but the photon torpedoes were still shooting. Then another detonated next to me, and the same thing happened. Can this be solved by a restart, or did i permanently damage the server by firing a gun?
