Help with weapons?

I have found that when i try and fire my old weapons on my old ships they dont work but, also when i link up a new weapon they dont work either even after wiring them and linking ls to them.
Also there is some weapons that dont have console information on the server and i dont know how to power them so if possible can someone post all the requirements for the weapons?
