[Sounds] Spacebuild VOX sounds

started to work on some spacebuild relevant VOX sounds, for use with E2's that give audio feedback of a ships status, so far I have a combination of words that will allow for any sane combination of numbers, so I'm going to stop at trillion, I plan on having some misc words and many commonly used words, any suggestions?

    Some target tracking things:

    Useful for drone control:

    Finally some Core sounds:

    I can think of more if you can easily make them.


    Note that I could probably write an E2 module to go with this. Probably something like Ent:soundText("<string>", Tempo) that would parse up the string and play the VOX sounds on the Ent. Would have to have dynamic delays for the says, though, soemthing like the following algorithm:
    SoundLength + (0.1 * Tempo * (Pitch/100))

    In addition to that, commas would add an 0.25 second delay times tempo, and full stops would add 0.5 seconds. Should be able to make "Sound Scripts" using this kind of notation.

    Final note: I'm moving this to Development, since it's not a finished product.

    sorry I havn't been around, computer recently died (mobo wont even reach POST) getting a new one soon so I can start work on this again, and I should beable to get back all my old work on it, and thats why I havn't been on the server as of late

    well, some news, going to be getting a new computer most likely within the month, so I'll restart work on this project, and it will be complete by the end of the year

    I believe he's making these himself. In the interest of copyright aversion, I'd say we forgo yanking sounds from there. :P

    yes making these myself, and now that I have a functioning computer again, I can get back to work on these shortly, once everything is set up with this thing

    On the "DIE YOU RED BASTARDS" sound, all I can say is "/me wants" and besides, I foresee someone making a miniature Liberty Prime(Fallout3) that runs around saying that while throwing nukes :lol:

    Fast forward to 6:30 for when the tanks actually start insulting commies.

    Funny note: when I was a bit younger I used to think that the grizzly pilots were calling the CCA units "Pinecones".

    well, I'm reviving this project, lost everything I had before, but in the past 45 minutes I've done all the numbering and some of the more general stuff like is and activate and "and", going to do a few more SB specific ones soon, also, when the first release is done there will be only one voice, I plan on adding a couple more after, but they will all be robotic-ish and monotone
