LS3 Missing Text and Malfunctioning Nodes (LUA Cache)

Whenever I spawn a LS3 component and mouse over it, the text box that should appear does not. Also, nodes say "Loading data..." in any state, whether or not a component is hooked up to them. I thought it might be my client, but on other servers and in single player it works fine. Not sure if this is related, but when I first join, it says "LUA Cache could not be downloaded - server is misconfigured".
