this is the one with bruce campbell as one of the character voices, isn't it? I remember playing it years and years ago. I really enjoyed it, great space combat game. Its a bit dated now, isn't it?

It is getting a bit dated, but still some of the best space combat I've seen. I can't remember if Bruce Campbell was involved though, might have been.

does anyone know how to get the multiplayer to work on windows vista or newer, I know taht vista and 7 are missing some of the DirectPlay bits needed for it to work, is there a way to get a DLL that has them though

I can confirm it works as I am using it myself, skirmisher community is generally helpful for anything nexus related btw.

Nevermind, the one I was thinking of with Bruce Campbell was Tachyon: the Fringe

But I'm pretty sure I played Nexus too, I don't miss many space combat releases.
