Low props list

Ok obviously SnakeSVx ain't around much..

I suspect the list won't be integrated in the game for a while. As I understand it, someone here could integrate it into the CAF list of the server?

Here's the list, nothing but cube, then people just have to add their skins:

    I know next to nothing about lua coding, but I can assume that all that needs to be done now is make a copy of all the lua files on this list and change the model in the code to the correspoding one in the list. This way old dupes with LS in would still function, assuming that changing the original lua files wouldn't change the models of the LS as it is duped. But then all we have to do is shout at people on the server until they use the low poly models.

    Not gonna lie here. I probably won't use these. I enjoy the way most of the current ones look, especially the fuel/mining props.

    But can we at least add the list?

    You know, I won't change my 2 fusion gen on the side of my shark, or the 2 batteries on my hawk, but I'll definitly change everything on my station.

    I can understand when an LS prop add a visual element to your ship, but when everything is hidden inside the hull... I mean, ain't that a little selfish? When nobody but you see it but everyone is feeling it..

    Anyhow, it would be good to have them so that people who want to lower the vid lag could spawn those instead.

    And one more thing, this is only a temporary thing as someone will eventually make some nice low poly models with nice skin.

    Surely setting their alpha to zero would stop them being rendered?

    Also: Virtually all of the resource outputs are generated by the volume of the models themselves. Using these would cause a pretty big problem with that.

    Nothing that can't be resolved, or even ignored, as I more or less made sure it was more or less the same size, and even if those makes a bigger or lesser output... who cares?

    It'll be the low poly settings, that's all! And if it makes too much confusions, well, I'm sure we can find some models that matches the original.
