Gyropod Fuel System

I know this thing is confusing at a first glance. But here is pretty much the gist of it.

FUEL SYSTEM OVERVIEW

-Gyropods here in Diaspora require what is known as PN-Fuel, or Energy. They need to be linked to a Resource Node to use them.

-If a Gyropod does not have PN-Fuel, it will use up Energy. When using Energy, it requires a great deal more of it, and can only go a maximum of 1/7 of the maximum speed (About 33 mph, or 53 kph).

-To get PN-Fuel, you must mine Polonium Nitrate from Crystals that show up on Uninhabitable Planets, and Ore from Asteroids. Use an Ore refinery to refine the Ore into Carbon and Metal. A Ship Fuel Refinery will refine Polonium Nitrate and Carbon into usable fuel.

-You can only have a certain amount of fuel storage on your ship. This is dictated by the Fuel Point System.

-When looking at the Gyropod, it will state how many points you have, and how many you have left, with a maximum of 10.

-Fuel tanks take up points. Every time you attach a tank to your ship, these points subtract.

-When you exceed the allotted fuel points you have from attaching a tank, the tank is removed. Small tanks use up 1 point, Medium use up 3, Large use up 6, and Extra Large use up 10. Station Tanks are for STATIONS. As in, they will not attach to a gyropod successfully. Do not attempt, it will most likely cause your fuel tanks to be deleted.

-The amount of Fuel Points your ship has is dictated by your ship size. The more volume your ship has, the more points you have.

-Your ship size also affects how much Fuel or Energy is used. The current speed of your ship also determines how much Fuel or Energy to use at that moment.

Don't forget about the Mining Drills. Here, I'll write up this part.

    - Drill Rigs are a slow, but reliable way to get a good amount of Ore and Polonium Nitrate to get your ship off the ground and flying. Drill Rigs are much slower and much less profitable than mining deposits such as asteroids or crystal patches.

    - Drill Rigs MUST be placed on soft ground (if you know your mapping terms, any Displacement works), or else they will not turn on.

    - Placing a Drill Rig near a crystal patch will result in a much higher Polonium Nitrate production than normal, but, as stated, is much less profitable than mining the exposed crystals.
