New Garry's Mod Server! Waterbuild! FastDL operational!

Starting today I am repurposing some freed disk space to bring us a Waterbuild server. This has been on the agenda for some time now, but it was delayed due to the hardware issues that plagued us last month. With the release of update 160 finally coming last night I felt it was a good time to bring it online, as fastdl is now operational again!

Go build some boats ye dirty landlubbers! :twisted:

    does gravity hull still have that sick-ass thing where it can make pockets of air underwater? cause that'd be pretty hype for the server

    Air pockets underwater? I didn't know the source engine supported such things...

    It doesn't, GHD works by keeping your physical player entity somewhere else on the map and moving your camera to the prop. Hence your physical player entity will not be underwater.

    When playing on this server, my physgun cannot pick things up. Is this normal?

    Nope. I don't have them synced simply because I'm not going to put SBEP on the server just yet, I want to see some creativity around the boat department :twisted:

    Not at all, I haven't a clue why it would happen.

    As an extra note I'll be relaxing the tool restrictions and certain other bits on this server once I get time to hop on and sort everything out. So you'll have ropes and other bits for those people who know how to utilize them on parented ships. On a related note I'm going to make a specific MOTD for this server, as it doesn't need anywhere near as much crap being spewed at people as the normal server.

    But all my working ships are SBEP! D:

    Smallbridge just works so well for frigates and such.

    Same for me. I also can't pick things up on the other two servers. Do I have an addon that the recent updates broke?

    Edit: I can pick up vehicles though, which is really weird.
